Affinity Dental continues its annual tradition of buying back Halloween candy from residents who stop by its Queen Creek offices from November 1-4.
Affinity Dental Halloween Candy Buyback Event
(Newswire.net — October 25, 2016) Queen Creek, Arizona — One Queen Creek dentist is doing something unusual this year to promote good dental health by giving children and their parents a reason to avoid eating too much candy this Halloween. Dr. Kelly B. Wettstein of Affinity Dental will pay $1 for each pound of candy Halloween trick-or-treaters bring to the Affinity Dental office at 21321 East Ocotillo Road, Suite 130, Queen Creek, Arizona
The cash for candy program will run from November 1-4, 2016. Candy can be brought in during normal business hours on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. All of the candy purchased by Affinity Dental will become part of gift baskets prepared by Operation Gratitude that are shipped to members of the U.S. military who are stationed overseas in time for the upcoming holidays.
“We want our patients to be comfortable when they come to Affinity Dental, so we do everything possible to build a relationship with them that encourages trust and confidence,” said Dr. Wettstein of Affinity Dental. “Participating in events such as the cash for candy project gives us an opportunity to demonstrate to our patients how much we care about them and the community.”
Affinity Dental provides complete family dental care for everyone from 2 years of age to senior citizens. Preventative services include examinations with X-rays, oral cancer screening and periodontal charting. Routine cleanings for adults and children are available, but they also offer deep cleaning and scaling for the early treatment of periodontal disease.
Halloween is not the only time that children are given special treatment at Affinity Dental. Children have access to Xbox, movies, toys and books to help make the dentist’s office a pleasant and anxiety-free experience for them. Children and adult patients who might be anxious about visits to the dentist can receive nitrous oxide to calm them while they receive pain-free treatment. Intravenous sedation is also available as an option that can make dental treatments comfortable for even the most fearful patient.
Other dental treatments and services offered at Affinity Dental include fillings, crowns, dental implants, root canals and extractions. Adult patients who are self-conscious about their smiles have corrective options available to them with the Invisalign teeth straightening system, porcelain veneers, bonding and teeth whitening offered at Affinity Dental.
Those interested in trading their Halloween candy for cash at the Affinity Dental’s Queen Creek dental office can find information on their website at www.AffinityDentalAZ.com or by calling 480-882-2300.
