We offer regular dental cleanings as well as deep cleanings, called scaling and root planing, based on the recommendation of the dentist. The American Dental Association recommends that every patient receive a prophylactic treatment(cleaning) at least every six months. However, there are circumstances where cleanings may be recommended every three to four months.

A regular dental cleaning includes removing plaque and tartar buildup, cleaning your teeth above the gumline, and polishing your teeth. The dentist or hygienist will also floss your teeth and check for any signs of gum disease or cavities.
